The Turkish Journal of Military History started its publication life with the first issue in 2020. As a biannual refereed journal, it contributes to the scientific studies by publishing researches on World military history, especially Turkish military history. The journal aims to reveal the military struggles of the Turks, who have been referred to as soldier-nation, since their first appearance in history. In this regard, it is aimed to contribute to the scientific development by revealing Turk’s contributions to the art of war, great victories, war tactics and strategies in accordance with scientific data detailly. Also, the journal had an important place for studies on World military history. The Turkish Journal of Military History will gain a unique place both nationally and internationally and become the main source for military historians and military history readers in the future.
